Tsunamis, large waves caused by geological activity, have created devastating impacts in various parts of the world. One of the most famous tsunamis was the Indian Ocean tsunami in 2004, which killed more than 230,000 people and caused incomparable damage in countries such as Indonesia, Thailand and Sri Lanka.<\/p>\n

Awareness and education about tsunamis is also very important. Many countries carry out regular training to educate the public about appropriate evacuation steps when a disaster occurs. Simulations are also carried out to prepare an efficient emergency response.<\/p>\n

These stories of disaster survivors provide deeper insight into human resilience in the face of disaster. Tracing the history of world tsunamis provides important lessons about climate change and how human activities influence natural disasters.<\/p>\n
